This group of volunteers strive to make Cherokee a business friendly community. The Cherokee Industrial Corporation works closely with the Cherokee Area Economic Development Corporation, Cherokee Chamber of Commerce and the City of Cherokee.

New Business Incentive Grant
We always welcome new businesses to Cherokee. The Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, Cherokee Industrial Corporation, and several local businesses have joined together to offer a retail incentive package to new businesses locating in Cherokee. The program includes start-up incentives sponsored by members of the existing business community. Through these community partnerships, we can enhance an already strong economic development climate throughout Cherokee.

Redevelopment Incentive Fund
The Redevelopment Incentive Fund, or store front grant, provides financial incentives to property owners and business people in the City of Cherokee’s Central Business District. The purpose of the grant is to assist Cherokee's retail community restoring and rehabilitating the storefronts of their property.
